PLACEMENT
CELL
In compliance of D.G.H.E.
guidelines, Placement Cell was formed with the following objective:-
- Create
awareness among students regarding available career options and help them
in identifying their career objectives.
- Guide
the students in developing skills and job-search strategies required to
achieve their career objectives.
- Identify
suitable potential employers for student’s placements.
- Organizing pre-placement training / workshops / seminars
for students.
- Act as
a bridge between students, alumni and employers.
To achieve the
aforementioned objectives, Placement Cell organizes followings activities:-
Ø Extension
lectures on job prospects and career opportunities in different Arts / Science / Commerce Subjects from eminent teachers
and subject expert counsellors .
Ø To train the students on quantitative analytical,
logical, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, problem solving and time saving
techniques along with English verbal and language adaptability.
Ø Placement
cell has been Personality development is one of the most critical aspects of
training sessions, Placement cell organises a series of tests and workshops to
help students discover their potential and analyse their shortcomings. It
trains students to deal with challenging situations of work and motivates them
by conducting various workshops.
Ø Preparation
of resume , cover letter writing and personal interviews.
Ø Student’s
participation in the State level job fair held at Panchkula.
Ø College
Level Job Fairs in collaboration with
Haryana District Employment office are organised .
Ø Placement
Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies,
graduates and post graduate students.
It gives me immense
pleasure to inform that 153 students had been selected in State Level as well
as College Level Job Fairs during
academic session 2018-19 and 122 students
during academic session 2019-20
