Lecture on laws regarding Senior Citizen Right

Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr Geeta Sukhija, the Legal Literacy Cell of the college, organised an extension lecture on the Laws regarding Senior Citizens' Rights, on 18th August, 2025. The resource person was Advocate Akanksha Yadav, a practicing lawyer at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, also on the panel of the DSLA, Panchkula. Around 50 students participated and interacted with the resource person. This event is a part of the special awareness campaign of the Haryana Govt, "Samman se Jeevan, Adhikar se Suraksha".
The lecture provided valuable insights into laws and rights of senior citizens empowering students with knowledge to support and protect the elderly in their communities.
