Resume Writing and Aptitude Testing Workshop Organised by the Placement Cell
A resume writing and aptitude testing workshop was organised by the Placement Cell of the College under the charismatic leadership of Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija. The main aim of this training session was to help students make exceptional resumes so that they could make an outstanding initial impression on the prospective employers, which could further enhance the likelihood of them landing their dream job. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ankit Grover, an expert from Hitbullseye, which is one of the most renowned institutes in the region dedicated towards providing training to MBA aspirants. Mr. Grover highlighted that a good resume should be clear, concise and impactful and he shared the essential components of a good resume. It should include achievements, skills and experience and should be written in professional language. A good resume should include action-oriented verbs, quantifiable achievements and industry specific keywords to pass the Applicant Tracking Systems. The experts also conducted an aptitude test of the students who participated in the workshop in order to help them discover their abilities. The workshop was attended by over 75 students from all the faculties and they found it very informative ans valuable. The convenor of the Placement Cell, Ms. Anjna and members Dr. Neeru Sharma, Dr. Geetanjali, Dr. Gurpreet, Ms. Neetu, Dr. Navneet Nancy and Dr. Sonia played an important role in making this workshop successful.
