‘Seven-day yoga workshop’ was organized under the leadership of Promila Malik, Principal of Aruna Asaf Ali Government College, Kalka. This workshop was organized by the Yoga Club of the college from 11 March to 18 March 2024. Addressing the students on the occasion of closing ceremony, the Principal said that Yoga has an important role in the all-round development of personality. During the workshop, yoga instructor Jagdeep Singh made the students practice various stages of pranayam along with important asanas like Surya Namaskar, Trikon Asana and Bhujang etc. At the conclusion of the workshop, the students also confirmed this. He told how practicing yoga made him concentrate. Through this effort of the Yoga Club, almost 40 students were benefited. In the successful organization of this workshop, club in-charge Dr. Geeta Kumari, member Prof. Suresh Kumar, Dr. Pradeep and Prof. Hardeep played an important role.
