57th Foundation Day of NSS

The National Service Scheme Units successfully conducted a one-day camp at Government College, Kalka, commemorating the 57th foundation day of the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event was held under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija and Registrar Dr. Ravinder Sheoran.
The camp commenced with the NSS song and yoga practice, featuring a special lecture delivered by guest Mr. Ramchandra. Volunteers participated in a slogan writing competition on "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan", as well as in singing, dance, jokes, and poetry recitation activities. A total of 200 volunteers took part in these activities. The primary aim of the event was to foster character building, promote social service, and enhance camaraderie among volunteers. The camp was organized by NSS in-charges Dr. Ashish Kumar and Ms. Savita, with significant contributions from Dr. Geeta and Dr. Pooja of the Hindi Department.
