48th Annual Athletic Meet Held at smt Aruna Asaf Ali Govt P.G. college kalka
Smt Aruna Asaf Ali Govt P.G. college Kalka celebrated its 48th Annual Athletic Meet with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit in the college stadium. The event witnessed the active participation from students across various departments, faculty members and distinguished guests. The programme began with the unfurling of the flag . Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija, formally welcomed the Chief Guest , Sh.S.P. Sukhija (Retd.) J.D.C. Haryana and highlighted the importance of sports in the overall development of students. Sh S P Sukhija appreciated the efforts of the institution in promoting sports and physical fitness alongside academic excellence. Various track and field events were conducted, showcasing the talent, dedication and competitive spirit of the participants. The programme was graced by Dr. Meenakshi( Retd) joint Director, Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana, as the Guest of Honour. Winners were felicitated with medals and certificates, while appreciation was extended to all participants, organizers and volunteers for the successful conduct of the event. Based on outstanding performance in multiple events, Pankaj Chaudhary was declared the Best Boy Athlete,while Bhawana won the title of Best Girl Athlete. The athletic meet was well organized under the guidance of organising secretary Dr Hardeep.The Annual Athletic Meet concluded on a joyful and energetic note, leaving behind memorable moments for everyone involved.
