Two-Day 'Parwaaz' Cultural Programme Organized at A.A.A. Govt. P.G. College, Kalka
The Cultural Committee of A.A.A. Govt. P.G. College, Kalka, successfully organized a vibrant two-day cultural programme, 'Parwaaz', on February 13-14, 2026. The event kicked off with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Dr. Geeta Sukhija, Principal of the college.
The programme aimed to showcase students' creativity, confidence, and artistic skills, and saw enthusiastic participation from various departments. Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija encouraged students to engage in extracurricular activities for holistic development. Faculty members were also present, appreciating the talents on display.
Competitions included Painting, Rangoli, Poster Making, Poetic Symposia (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Punjabi), Declamation, Mimicry, Mono Acting, Instrumental Playing, Haryanvi Song, General Song, Haryanvi Dance (solo), and General Dance (solo). Students impressed with their remarkable talent, making the event a huge success.
Winners received certificates and prizes for their outstanding performances. 'Parwaaz' promoted unity, teamwork, and cultural spirit among students, leaving a lasting impact.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Cultural Committee Convenor Dr. Jagpal and members Dr. Geeta, Dr. Neetu, Dr. Namita, Dr. Sonali, Dr. Bhairavi, Dr. Pradeep, and Tabla Player Varun Sharma. Dr. Jagpal concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
