Constitution Day Celebration

Constitution Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Government College, Kalka. The program was organized jointly by the Departments of Political Science, Public Administration, and National Service Scheme under the leadership of Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija. Dr. Sukhija addressed the students, highlighting the significance of the Constitution. She said that on November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution, laying the foundation of India's democratic values. The event was declared a national importance day in 2015 to mark Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's 125th birth anniversary. The program was successfully organized by Assistant Professor Sunita Chauhan, Assistant Professor Savita, and Dr. Ashish Kumar. Students took a pledge to uphold the Constitution's values and duties. The faculty members made students aware of the Constitution's provisions and rights. The event was a grand success due to the efforts of Prof. Virendra Atwal, Assistant Prof. Pooja Singal, Dr. Neeru Sharma, and Assistant Prof. Jagpal.
