Cleanliness Drive

A one-day camp on the theme “Cleanliness Drive” was organized at Smt. Aruna Asaf Ali Post Graduate College, Kalka under the aegis of NSS units. The camp was conducted under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija.
NSS volunteers actively participated in the camp. A speech competition on the topic “Cleanliness is My Duty” was organized, where students expressed their views effectively. The competition was judged by Ms. Savita, Assistant Professor from the Department of Commerce, and NSS Programme Officer Dr. Ashish Kumar, who impartially selected the winners. Laxmi (B.A. III) secured first position, Priya (BCA II) second, and Gunjan (M.Sc. I) third, and were awarded medals.
Students also carried out a cleanliness drive on campus and ensured proper waste disposal. The event was anchored by Ms. Chasna and Mr. Vijay. Volunteers shared their previous camp experiences and took a pledge to promote cleanliness in society. The camp was successfully organized under the guidance and efforts of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Ashish Kumar and Assistant Professor Savita, making it a meaningful and inspiring event.
