An Educational Trip to Jatayu Conservation and Breeding Center, Pinjore

Organized for B.Sc. IInd and IIIrd year medical students by Zoology department. A power point presentation was arranged by Dr. Vibhu Parkash (Director) and his team (biologists, researchers and veterinarians) regarding the causes of mass decline in number of the raptors (Vultures), captive breeding and government initiatives to revive the number of their species in wild. The students were intimidated to know the facts about vultures. The visit to their labs boosted the students’ inclination towards research.
