District Level Competitions of NCORD

Students of the College participated in various District Level Competitions of NCORD held at GCW, Sector 14, Panchkula on 2nd April, 2026, to raise awareness against drug abuse in the district, under the charismatic leadership of Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija. The main aim of these competitions was to raise awareness against the rising cases of drug abuse amongst the youth which reflected in the themes of the competitions as well, which ranged from “Role of Youth in Building Drug-Free Society”, “Social Media and the Rising Drug Culture”, “How Drugs are Stealing the Future of the Youth” to “The Impact of Drugs on Brain and Behaviour”. The main events included PowerPoint Presentation Competition, Declamation and Slogan Writing Competition, in which students from all the colleges of Panchkula district participated with a lot of enthusiasm and fervour. The students of the College won several accolades in these competitions. Pooja, a student of BA 2nd year secured first position in PowerPoint Presentation Competition and Priya, from BA 2nd year secured second position in Declamation Competition. They were accompanied by Dr. Navneet Nancy, who is the COTPA/ Drug Absence Awareness Committee in-charge from the College.
