NSS Adventure Camp

Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Geeta Sukhija and NSS Programme Officers Dr. Ashish Kumar and Mrs. Savita, girls volunteers of the National Service Scheme from Government P.G. College, Kalka proudly participated in an Adventure Camp held at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports in Manali, Himachal Pradesh from 17 to 26 February 2026. The camp was organized by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana, Panchkula in collaboration with the NSS Cell Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Ms. Vandna Kumari from B.A. final year and Ms. Muskan Ramola from B.Com final year successfully completed the 912th course under the Government of Himachal Pradesh Adventure Programme and received certificates. They gained training in rock climbing, rappelling, river crossing, trekking, camping, jungle craft, survival skills, and leadership, completing a 70-kilometre trek and reaching 7,200 feet. The institute praised their discipline and fitness, while the Principal congratulated and motivated the students for their achievement.
