News Reading Competition
The Department of Economics of *Smt. Aruna Asaf Ali Government P.G. College, Kalka* organized a *News Reading Competition under the visionary leadership of principal Dr. Geeta sukhija. The event was coordinated by Ms. Archana Soni, Assistant Professor of Economics.
A total of 18 students from the department of economics enthusiastically participated in the competition and showcased their news-reading skills with confidence, clarity, and expression. The event was marked by keen competition and vibrant participation.
After careful evaluation, the results were as follows:
* *First Position:* Mehak (B.Sc. 1st Semester)
* *Second Position:* Anshika (B.Sc. 3rd Semester)
* *Third Position:* Laxmi (B.A. 5th Semester)
* *Consolation Prize:* Gurjeet Kaur (B.A. 1st Semester)
The competition not only highlighted the oratory and presentation skills of the students but also encouraged them to stay updated with current affairs. The Department expressed its appreciation for the enthusiastic response and congratulated the winners as well as all participants.
